Today let’s focus on balancing our heart chakras! The heart chakra spins even faster than the solar plexus chakra and resonates with the colour green. It is associated with love, compassion and forgiveness and may be cleared by placing one of the crystals listed below on the heart centre and meditating upon it. You may also wish to chant the bija ‘Yam’ (pronounced yarm).

Sanskrit name: Anahata (meaning unbeaten)

Location: Heart centre.

Main Issues: Love, compassion. hope, forgiveness, acceptance, relationships.

Areas of the Body:  Heart, lungs, circulatory system, thymus gland, chest, shoulders, arms, hands.

Imbalances may cause: Loneliness, lack of confidence, bitterness, coldness, jealousy, codependency.

Balancing the Sacral Chakra with Crystals

The sacral chakra spins a little faster than the root chakra and resonates with the colour orange on the visible light spectrum. To balance this chakra you may wish to place one or more of the crystals listed below, approximately 3 inches below your belly button and meditate upon them whilst chanting the bija ‘vam’ (pronounced varm).
